Bonjour Benardine ! There are a number of CDs that I would like to buy but I am not sure where and how to order them. Here is the list: SOY Live El Campo (2002) El Campo 2 (2003) Julina (2004) Los Reyes Latest CD. Contains songs from following web site www.gipsy-reyes.com/ click on Extracts Comes up with about 8 songs that you can listen to. Todos Ole (Live) Volare, etc. An excellent CD. What other CDs do they have out ? Los Cortes Would like all of their CDs GipsyLand Any new CDs coming out ? El Chato & Alma Ritano Would like all of their CDs. Having a hard time ordering these through amazon.fr Seems like they are not available. What other sources could I look at to see if they have these. Hi DJ Soy & Los CortesJuliet and Cathy will be going to Saintes Maries later this month and will try and establish a way of obtaining these groups' CDs so that it will be easier for anyone to purchase them. I understand Soy is coming up with a website, hopefully it will have an online store For now you can order Soy's CDs directly from the group or through El Campo Tel : + 33.(0)6.15.20.07.86 El Campo (Restaurant where they perform) elcampo@camargue.fr Los Reyes & GipsylandBoth these groups CDs can be ordered at Boutique Passiones, Arles (the site is in French, but you can e-mail Catherine in English). Even Amazon carries them www.passionnes.com/Los Reyes Albums: Tarot, Pasion, Gipsy Kings of Music, Gipsy Legend, Gipsy Christmas and Los Reyes Gipsyland : Arte & Viva La Musica Kiko Motos (lead singer of Gipsy land) come out with a solo album, mostly cover songs, its called Saintes Maries De La Mer El Chato & Alma Ritano are new to me so other than Amazon, Im not sure. I will check with Catherine LailoI will check with Felipe on this and get back to you

Thank you -DJ Hey DJ: I would try Catherine's store first as that's the original source of purchase for most of the CDs you mentioned above. Pure Spain Flamenquito and the Boxer are also compliations which you should be able to purchase off Amazon or Virgin online sites. Gipsy Mania is a compilation CD of various camargue gitan groups, most of which are songs of Jose Reyes et Los Reyes/Los Reyes (a must have in any Camargue collection). La Hora Di Marina is a variation of L'Heure De Marina. One of my favorite 'classic camargue' tunes and a favorite of my nephew's when he was about 3. When I had it blasting on the car audio system and he was in the car with, he'd say it was 'HIS' song and only he could sing along with it. It went something like: "Aunty, stop. This is MY song." HAAA!! He's 16 now and yes, I never let him forget it ;D

I love the CD "Gipsy Mania". One of the greatest tunes I have ever heard is on this CD. Canut Reyes singing Bolero. UNBELIEVABLE !!! He played that at the Ravinia in Chicago. I was sitting right in the middle in the 20th row. I have never seen anything like it. He is the god of music.

I love the songs from Kaloome and Tekameli; one of them being "Sirocco". Just curious, but where are they from. Sounds like they are from the Middle East.

Yes, yes, you must pick up these CDs. They are excellent. I believe Kaloome is listed on the major online outlets, however, Tekameli CDs may need to be either checked via the French online shops or Catherines. Kaloome is derived from the members of Tekameli. The lead singer and a few other members formed Kaloome after Tekameli sort of went on the way side. I had a chance to see Kaloome perform in Arles last year during the Feria. WOW! WOW! Wonderful sound! Last I checked, there was one member of Kaloome of middle eastern descent and yes, the music is a blend of middle eastern. Check the GYPSYMUSIQUE.COM site under Artists, you'll find a link for Kaloome. There are photos from the Feria.
